Speaking of The Way Life Works, I am so kicking myself for not thinking until too late of donating a case of them to the TOS/HSB homeschool blog awards. It would make a great homeschooling blog award prize, because I just know the average nominee over there would enjoy it every bit as much as my family would enjoy, say, that book about the Grand Canyon, or, gosh, practically any of that stuff from Vision Forum.
Oh well, there’s always next year, right? Plenty o’ time ’til then to think up a whole bunch of terrific, family-friendly prizes to donate!
Got any suggestions?
Update: Turns out it wasn’t quite too late on their end, but I decided it was too late on our end, at least for impulsiveness on that kind of scale. Barring unforeseen circumstances (at either end), will be percolating something along these lines for next year.

Are you sure you’re too late? I think they take donations right up until the voting is done.
Here’s their rules: PRIZES
Prizes change every year as they are offered as a donated gift by third parties and are not promised by HSBA. HSBA is not responsible for the shipment or delivery of any Prize listed on this site. To see a current Prize list, please look at our sidebar as we will keep it updated with current links. Past prizes may or may not be left on the sidebars for you to view. We reserve the right at any time to modify, add to, delete, or otherwise change any information on the Prize pages. Due to the fact that some of the individuals and companies who offer donations do so before, during, and after voting has begun, you should not expect a final list of Prizes until the date that the winners are announced. No person or company who offers a donation for a Prize is bound by any agreement with HSBA or its Authors to deliver and distribute such Prize.

Thanks, Meg — for some reason I thought it was over. I will find out about donating.
But, erm, I should tell you that when I said “a case,” I was by that point actually projecting ahead to next year. I’d love to see something like this go to every category (depending on how many categories they get up to), and am definitely interested in doing something on that scale for next year.
